Born out of our commitment to people, planet, and place, RiverSea Advisors was founded in 2020 to help organizations and individuals better align their work with their values and the needs of their communities.
We believe that a healthy planet and a robust economy are intertwined and depend on an active and engaged public. That decision makers should consider sound, inclusive, and ethically conducted science. And that we must support a scientific community that is reflective of and grounded in community needs. We imagine a world where people and planet are centered in organizational and individual decisions.
Our mission is to provide our clients with sound advice grounded in research and applied experiences. With a focus on the science-policy interface in coastal systems, our work ranges from conducting research and policy analyses, to providing career transition advice, to designing program evaluations and more.
Our Founder
With nearly two decades of experience in environmental policy, Lindsey Williams brings a wealth of practical knowledge to the table to assist our clients. She holds a BA in Biology, a Master’s of Marine Policy, and a PhD in Natural Resources and Environmental Studies. Her broad and interdisciplinary educational background is further complimented by experience working at the federal, regional, state, and local level on a range of collaborative projects.
For larger scope projects, we draw on a network of partners based on client needs to build the right team with complimentary skillsets for each project.
